How to export content from Pure to ORCID

Your research outputs can be exported automatically from Pure to ORCID.

Please note that all content will be exported regardless of the content that already exists on your ORCID account. This means that in some cases there may be duplicates created.

If your ORCID number does not appear on your personal overview screen, please make sure that your Pure profile is linked to your ORCID account. For more information, please go to the ORCID create or connect guide.

Before you start, if you are currently logged into your ORCID account on your computer please make sure to log out before you continue to the next step.

Log in to Pure at: https://cris.bgu.ac.il/admin  with your University username and password.

On your personal overview screen click on “Authorize export of content to ORCID”.

You will be directed to an information screen advising what content will be exported to ORCID. Click on the blue  Proceed button.

Sign in with your ORCID password.

You will be asked to authorize access of the University:

You should see a message in your PURE profile confirming that you have successfully applied your ORCID number.

Press the Save button on the bottom of the screen.

Go to your Pure profile and press Edit profile.

On your Pure profile press the Export button next to your ORCID number.

Your research output will be exported immediately.

Exports to ORCID will not run automatically. Following the initial set-up, you will need to initiate a manual export of content to ORCID from the Personal editor screen.

Manage Duplicates

If duplicates were created on your ORCID list of works you can edit them from your personal account in ORCID if you press the Manage similar works button. For more information please go to the ORCID website.
